The Adult Procrastinator?

Over the past year of my life a lot has changed, and I feel like a lot of those changes have come in the past three months. Since starting my second year of university, I feel like I've really started to become the person I want to be for the rest of my life. It's natural that everyone changes as they grow older, but especially between the ages of your late teenage years to the start of your adult. I am currently a nineteen year old, second year, economic student, trying her absolute hardest to get a good degree and make something of herself. However, I don't particularly want my eulogy to read like 'yeah she worked hard and did alright'. So, that's where this blog comes in...

I was a typical seventeen year old, trying to avoid school work and adult responsibilities as much as possible, when I made this blog. At the time, it was the perfect outlet for writing about whatever I wanted, whether people read it or not. However, recently I've decided that I actually want to make something of this blog. I'm of course not talking about earning money or turning it into a career like so many 'internet famous' people seem to do these days, but more; I want to set goals, plan posts and achieve something with blog. I want to take pride in the fact that I have my own blog, rather than crawl up in embarrassment when one of my friends manages to stumble across it. I even want it to be something I can put on my CV to prove to employers that I have dedicated myself to something away from my studies.

With all of this and many more reasons in mind, I have decided to change the name, layout and even host site of  'The Life of a Teenage Procrastinator'. From now on, I shall be using Wordpress, instead of Blogger, for my writing. I have nothing against Blogger and it has been perfectly accommodating to all of the work I've done on this blog so far, but I feel that it is limited when it comes to expanding the look of my blog in the future. Furthermore, I have also decided to change the name of my blog. Despite loving 'The Life of a Teenage Procrastinator', it is hardly a url I can keep for the future. It'd be slightly odd to still write under that name when I turn 20, which is only in four months time. However, I still love the idea of this blog being my 'procrastination'. For that reason, I have decided to entitle my new blog 'Procrastinate the Day' *three cheers for me*

So, I feel like I have rambled on long enough about all of these changes and I should probably just let you all see (and follow) my new blog. I have copied over all of my current posts, so if you have any favourites be sure to comment and share them from my new address;

Thanks for all of the support,
And for the last time,
The Teenage Procrastinator.
