Before I head back to University this weekend, I decided to do a little bit of shopping. Originally, I had planed to just purchase the necessities; face wash, razors and so on... However, like most shopping trips, I purchase quite a lot more. So, here's a look at some of the items I treated myself to.
The Bare Necessities: In my defence, I didn't only treat myself on this shopping trip as I actually did purchase a few items that a girl just can't live without out. However, most of it is boring stuff that no one needs to see, so I thought I would just share a few items I got that you may have some interest in.

My New Babies: In all honesty, I have never been much of a 'shoe girl' and have always preferred to splash the cash on clothes, only buying shoes that I actually need. However, today was clearly an exception to that rule. Steve Madden boots have been an obsession of mine for a few years now, but I could never bring myself to fork out £100 or more on a pair of shoes. Although, as I was strolling through House of Fraser, an pair of absolute beauties caught my eye and as they were on sale I just couldn't say no! The other pair are more of a staple shoe that I plan to wear with jeans when walking around campus, not quite as big a purchase as my boots, but still I lovely pair to add to my wardrobe.

Winter Warmers: Even though many may see as the end of the winter season, in England it is just beginning. So, because of this fact, I decided to have a mooch round for a few winter fashion pieces that would keep me warm in the upcoming weeks.

New Look Today, New Look Tomorrow, New Look Forever: New Look was one of the first high street fashion stores that I shopped in when I was first getting into fashion and making my own clothing choices, and no matter how hard I try to drift away from them an experiment with other lines, their on trend looks and reasonable prices always drag me back. I picked up two pairs of jeans from university, as well a few other pieces for both winter and spring (I know, preparing early!)

So, there we have it - told you it was quite a haul. Although, trust me, I am a student and this kind of extensive spending is not a common occurrence, don't worry. I benefited from quite a few discounts thanks to my Student card too, so it's not all bad. I also picked up a few extra items form Boots, WHSmith and Victoria Secret, but I didn't include it in the haul due to my frustration at trying to take a flattering picture of a black bra, and the boringness of hauling a notebook.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year!
